Groveland Police and Langley-Adams Library to Host Bike Rodeo
GROVELAND — Deputy Chief Jeffrey Gillen is pleased to announce that the Groveland Police Department, in conjunction with Langley-Adams Library, will host a bike rodeo next month to promote safety tips prior to riding season.
“We’re excited to hold our first bike rodeo with the library to provide important tips and information to residents,” Deputy Gillen said. “We hope the community stops by on their bikes for some fun and safety.”
Monday, June 6 from 5-7 p.m.
Langley-Adams Library, 181-185 Main St., Groveland. The rodeo will be held at the municipal parking lot and inside the library.
The event is free and open to the public. Head over on your wheels to have Riverside perform a bike safety inspection, hear from police officers about the rules of the road and learn the best ways to handle your equipment.
End the night with a scoop or two from and Jeff and Maria’s Old Fashioned Ice Cream and Food.
Deputy Gillen, Police Officer Joshua Sindoni and Lauren M. Towler, Library Assistant at Langley-Adams Library, are coordinating the event.
Register with the Langley-Adams Library at 978-372-1732 or online at www.langleyadamslib.org.
