For Immediate Release

GROVELAND — Chief Jeffrey Gillen is pleased to announce that the Groveland Police Department is holding its annual toy drive to benefit children in need.

Groveland Police are working with St. Patrick’s Church to collect toys for Groveland and Haverhill residents.

Community members who would like to donate to the toy drive can do so now through Dec. 12. New, unopened and unwrapped gifts for kids of any age can be dropped off at the Groveland Police Department, 181 Main St.

Boxes will also be set up in the station to benefit Toys for Tots — a foundation started by the U.S. Marine Corps that works to collect gifts for children in need during the holidays.

“Each year we work to ensure that every child has a happy holiday,” Chief Gillen said. “We hope that community members will join us once again in making a donation to help children locally and across the nation.”
