Groveland Residents Invited to Vehicle Night

GROVELAND —  Chief Jeffrey Gillen and Library Director Darcy Lepore are pleased to invite members of the community to Vehicle Night next week.

WHO: 

• Town of Groveland
• Groveland Police
• Langley-Adams Library

WHEN:

Monday, Sept. 24, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

WHERE: 

Pines Recreation Area, 187 Main St, Groveland

WHAT:

Groveland residents of all ages will have an opportunity to explore a variety of public safety vehicles.

The event is free and open to the public, and no registration is required.

Library staff have been busy coordinating a variety of vehicles for this family event, including police and fire vehicles, an ambulance, a taxi, mail truck, cement mixer, tow truck, limousine and a school bus. The event will also feature a variety of Light Department trucks and the new Water and Sewer truck.

Additionally, a Coast Guard boat and a helicopter are tentatively expected to appear at the event.
