GROVELAND — Groveland Police Chief Jeff Gillen reports that the Groveland Police Department is investigating a hit and run crash that occurred at a local business this morning.

At 7:22 a.m., Groveland Police responded to Nicole’s Mini Food Store and Keno, located in a shopping plaza on School Street, for a report of a hit and run. Upon arrival, police learned that a vehicle had struck a wooden pillar in front of the store, knocking it down. The vehicle fled the scene.

The building was not damaged and the businesses in the plaza, including Nicole’s, were allowed to open and operate normally.

The Groveland Police Department is actively investigating this incident, and anyone with information on the crash is encouraged to call the department at 978-521-1212.
