GROVELAND — Finance and Personnel Director Denise Dembkoski, Police Chief Jeffrey Gillen and Library Director Darcy Lepore are pleased to invite members of the community to Vehicle Night next week.

WHO:

  • Groveland Police Department
  • Groveland Fire Department
  • Langley-Adams Library

WHEN:

Monday, Sept. 23, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

WHERE: 

Pines Recreation Area, 187 Main St, Groveland

WHAT:

Various public safety vehicles will be on display and available for residents to view and explore at the event, including police cruisers, a fire engine, ambulance, mail truck, light department utility truck, school bus, tow truck, a loader, roller and sidewalk plow from the highway department. A medical helicopter is also scheduled to land, contingent on weather and availability. Mobile bike service Pedalin’ Fools will also be in attendance.

The Town of Groveland’s Vehicle Night is free and open to residents of all ages.

Vehicle Night is organized each year by Town Hall officials, members of the police department and employees of the library.
