GROVELAND — Chief of Police Jeffrey Gillen is pleased to share the Groveland Police Department held a successful “Stuff-A-Cruiser” food drive last weekend to benefit the Sacred Hearts Food Bank.

During its annual “Stuff-A-Cruiser” event on Saturday, Nov. 20, Groveland Police collected hundreds of food items to be donated to the Sacred Hearts Food Bank in Haverhill to help families in need. The Sacred Hearts Food Bank serves the Bradford and Groveland communities.

All donations were placed in the back of Groveland Police cruisers for delivery to the food bank.

The Groveland Police Department wishes to thank Sgt. Joshua Sindoni, Detective Adam Sanborn, Officer Chris Ertsos, and Officer Chris L’Italien for their hard work in organizing the event. The department also would like to thank the community for its generosity, including Selectman Jason Naves and members of the Groveland Dog Park.

“I would like to extend a special thanks to all who participated in this food drive,” Chief Gillen said. “The outpouring of support from the community was tremendous, and these donations will go a long way in helping many families in need this holiday season.”
