*MEDIA ADVISORY* Groveland Police Department to Hold Annual ‘Stuff-A-Cruiser’ Food Drive

November 18, 2021 by Alia Spring

GROVELAND — Chief of Police Jeffrey Gillen is pleased to announce the Groveland Police Department is holding a “Stuff-A-Cruiser” food drive this weekend to benefit the Sacred Hearts Food Bank.

WHEN:

Saturday, Nov. 20, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

WHERE:

In front of the Groveland Police Station, 181 Main St.

WHAT:

The Groveland Police Department is asking residents and community members to donate non-perishable, future-dated food items to benefit Sacred Hearts Food Bank, which serves the Bradford and Groveland communities.

Items being sought for donation include canned fruit, canned veggies, soups, baked beans, boxed stuffing mix, boxed potatoes and yams, peanut butter, jelly, jam, dried pasta, pasta sauce, and other canned or non-perishable items.

All donations will be placed into the back of Groveland Police cruisers for delivery to the food bank.

“We hold this event each year and are always humbled by the generosity of so many here in Groveland,” Chief Gillen said. “It is important that we come together as a community to help those in need, and we encourage all those who are able to do so to stop by and participate in the event on Saturday.”
